It's two AM

I know this reality is just a stage. For billions of years this is all this existence has ever been. It only took the right combinations of life and death to produce a proper world and then life to take over the planet. The combinations worked on life and twisted it until a thinking human came around and realized it was just a stage. No longer oblivious to the drama unfolding around it man began to write down the history not only of his own species and others but that of the universe itself. Does anyone even care? Why should I even care if I know this? Some would say that God is seated before this stage watching everything unfold. I can only say that by pulling enough strings we may some day unravel what the hell this damn stage was built for in the first place. The sad thing is that I see people who are still oblivious to it. I suppose it only really matters if that knowledge is something that is valuable or not. Indeed it doesn't take a lot to survive in this world and such knowledge means little if all you want is to get by. Our bodies are fashioned such that much of the choice of life is already determined. The billions of years that have twisted our course have made it so dying isn't easy. Not that slitting wrists or jumping from on high is difficult but your body has developed to keep everyone from making such a choice in most cases. There are some things that don't really take choice. I don't have to think to breathe or to sleep; I just do it. My body tells me I am hungry so I eat. My body tells me a girl is attractive so I go and talk to her. The TV tells me what I want for dinner or what I should drive or what I should be. I don't even have to think about that anymore. Maybe the whole point of knowing about this is so we rise above what it is in our nature to do. Our nature is to not think and let our bodies control everything and just survive like most animals do. So rise above the natural man. Maybe we see the man behind the curtain or the orchestrator in the audience before the stage and stop acting on impulse and create our own stage. Hell, we might as well figure out what the whole thing was built for in the first place because it sure as hell wasn't built to last forever. So are we the aberrations or the hidden reason for this existence?
